High quality Karibu bituminous tile with rectangular shape ideal for roofing wooden houses
A bituminous tile for wooden houses based on oxidised bitumen, reinforced with glass fiber reinforcement and characterized by a protective layer of colored natural grit. It is a roofing element that has a glass felt reinforcement soaked and covered in bitumen, which makes it perfectly waterproof.
Stable and resistant to temperature variations. These shingles originated in North America in the early 1900s and are also often called Canadian shingles. They have the advantage of having a reduced thickness and low weight, which makes them suitable for light roofing of prefabricated wooden structures. Each pack of bituminous shingles covers 3 square meters of roof. The installation of bituminous tiles is simple, thanks to the presence of a self-adhesive layer which guarantees the stability and waterproofness of the roof. Bituminous tiles also have good color resistance to atmospheric agents and wear over time, giving a pleasant and natural aesthetic appearance to the roof of the wooden house. Bituminous tiles adapt to any type of climate and are not afraid of frost, heat, wind, environmental pollution, temperature changes and heavy rain. Furthermore, they do not require particular maintenance.
