Wood stain for exteriors: Ice Gray Protective Oil for Outdoor Wooden Floors. Protect and enhance your outdoor wooden floors with the long-lasting oil that combines nature and technology.
The Ice Gray Oil for Outdoor Wooden Floors is an innovative product, specially designed for the treatment of wood in an autoclave. This type of wood, characterized by a green tone, is often difficult to treat with traditional products. Thanks to its advanced formulation, this oil offers total protection against UV rays, humidity and cracks, ensuring exceptional durability of the treated surfaces.
Ideal for application on exterior wood floors, the oil is suitable for all wood species, including pressure-treated, heat-treated and exotic woods. It can be used on both new and previously oiled wood, making it extremely versatile.
The product is ready to use and requires that the surface to be treated is clean, solid and dry with a maximum of 16% humidity. It is important to avoid application on days when rain is expected within 24 hours. Furthermore, to ensure the best possible adhesion of the product, the treated surfaces should not be subjected to new treatments in the following two years.
Before application it is essential to carefully read the instructions on the label. Untreated surfaces must be freed from dirt and dust and washed with GORI Detergent if necessary. If the wood has already been treated with oil previously, any loose residue must be removed.
When applying the oil, it is essential to mix the product well before and during use and distribute it evenly using a brush or sponge until it is completely absorbed by the wood. Excess oil must be removed to avoid unwanted overlap.
The ideal conditions for application include a dry surface with wood humidity below 16%, temperatures above +5°C and humidity below 80%. After applying the oil, the surface must be handled with care for about a week to obtain maximum hardness and durability.
The product offers a light odor that disappears after drying and is characterized by a matte finish. The yield varies from 5-7 m²/l on old surfaces to 7-15 m²/l on new surfaces or in good condition. Drying times include approximately 4 hours for touch, 16 hours for repainting and complete drying in approximately seven days at standard conditions.
To best preserve the product it is important to keep it protected from frost in sealed containers. Please also remember that the tools used may represent a risk of spontaneous combustion; therefore they must be stored safely after use.
